Turneffe Flats is 30 miles from shore and our remoteness leads to some communication challenges. Guest internet is provided through and Air-fiber system with a satellite backup. This allows basic internet connectivity which works fine for email and web searches. It is not, however, able to support large downloads or streaming services. Internet is available in the Main Lodge and our Villas, but not in all guest rooms.
Telephone service is readily available 24 hours a day in the office area of the lodge building.
