Flats Fishing Schedule - Turneffe Flats Belize

There is no set flats fishing schedule at Turneffe Flats. Our fishing guides take guest fishing for bonefish, permit, and tarpon six days per week.

Our fishing schedule is as flexible as possible. We don't have set fishing times but a typical fishing day begins around 7:30 or 8:00 AM and finishes around 4:00 or 5:00 PM. For safety reasons, we ask that all guides be in an hour before sundown.

Each day you will have the option to take a nice packed lunch with a sandwich of your choice, fresh fruit, chips and fresh baked cookies. A large chef salad is also a lunch choice or you may return to the lodge for the noon meal. Prior to dinner each evening, management will coordinate lunches and the following fishing day. Early morning fishing, particularly for tarpon, can be exceptional, and arrangements to go tarpon fishing before breakfast are easily made.
